Every day more and more people are identified as obese or diagnose with heart diseases / diabetics etc. It’s time to put an end to this and start leading a healthy lifestyle.

You are what you eat – so shop healthy instead of easy!
 
  • Step one is picking a healthy diet to follow. There are many diets out there to follow but pick something that will be good for you, your existing health conditions and your budget. Fresh vegetables, grilled fish, fruits containing antioxidants etc. should frequent your diet.
     
  • Check your labels. All products go through an advertising phase. The real deal is the nutrition labels. So before you make a purchase, check to see whether you are getting all the nutrients you want. If there are unnecessary ingredients you know what to ignore.
     
  • Select whole foods. Not processed food - however much these are appealing (yes that bag of chips looks way too good to ignore).  Eggs, potatoes, mangoes and any other whole food which are not processed are good to go.
     
  • Fresh fruits – Yum! Ditch the chocolates for fruits. You’ll thank us after a couple of months. Fruit flavoured products are not the same as actually having fruits.  Abort abort and abort. Don’t go for the flavours but purchase the original.
     
  • Crunchy food is allowed! Well, not those chips – we’re talking about apples, peanuts, celery etc.
